Two true, real Renaissance men. But which one will stand the test of time?

Leonardo da Vinci was an Italian polymath, scientist, mathematician, engineer, inventor, anatomist, painter, sculptor, architect, botanist, musician and writer. Leonardo has often been described as the archetype of the Renaissance man, a man whose unquenchable curiosity was equaled only by his powers of invention. He is widely considered to be one of the greatest painters of all time and perhaps the most diversely talented person ever to have lived. Also, he once raced a cheetah and won.

Tony Danza is an Italian American actor, professional boxer, tap dancer, talk show host, go-cart driver , singer and cook book author.  Tony Danza once caught my friend Josiah from falling when he leaned too far back in his chair at a Sushi restaurant in New York. So, he is also a hero.

Leonardo  da Vinci painted the Mona Lisa and the Last Supper.  Those are pretty good  but most people are unaware he also painted this:

Tony Danza was in Cannonball Run 2 and Angels in the Outfield. Also, he was in the very rarely shown but classic, Mr. Thompson and his Bananas.

Leonardo da Vinci made many scientific advancements in the study of human anatomy. He also invented helicopters! Zoinks.  But sadly, never appeared in one single film or TV show.

Now, after giving you these facts, I urge you to now write your local Alderman and tell him/her who is a better Renaissance man.

Go forth!
